Chin chin is simple snack that can be made easily

Ingredients

  • Ingredients
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter or margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Milk (as needed)
  • Oil for frying

Steps

  1. Preparation
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. Add butter and rub it into the flour until crumbly.
  4. Add eggs and mix well.
  5. Add a little milk to form a soft dough.
  6. Roll the dough flat and cut into small cubes or strips.
  7. Heat oil in a pan and fry the pieces until golden brown.
  8. Remove and drain on paper towels.
