Chin chin is simple snack that can be made easily
Ingredients
- Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup butter or margarine
- 2 eggs
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
- Pinch of salt
- Milk (as needed)
- Oil for frying
Steps
- Preparation
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, nutmeg, and salt.
- Add butter and rub it into the flour until crumbly.
- Add eggs and mix well.
- Add a little milk to form a soft dough.
- Roll the dough flat and cut into small cubes or strips.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the pieces until golden brown.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
